All our accommodation is located in Popes Lane in the village of Cookham Dean, in Berkshire, England.

All properties are within walking distance of the village's ameneties which include a post office open from 7.30am to 7.30pm. This post office sells basic food supplies as well as delicious bread.

Close to the River Thames, the village is also home to a number of popular pubs and restaurants. The Jolly Farmer and Uncle Tom's Cabin are pub/restaurants. Chequers is a charming bistro and The Inn On The Green is a popular restaurant with alfresco eating area in the summer.

Cookham Dean is about 5 minutes drive from Maidenhead, 10 minutes from the M4 (junction 8/9) and 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport. See the maps shown on this page.

By train, Maidenhead station (on the London Paddington line) is a 5 minute taxi ride away.

Directions from the M40
Exit at junction 4. Take the A404(M) for 3 miles. Turn left onto the A308. (*) Follow the road for 2 miles then turn left intoWinter Hill Road. After 1 miles bear left into Choke Lane. Take the first right after half a mile into Bigfrith Lane. Go past the post office, Jolly Farmer pub on the left and church on the right, past the war memorial and Popes Lane is on the left. 2nd turn right to Ventnor Cottages.

Directions from the M4
Exit at junction 8/9. Take A404(M) towards Henley for around 5 miles. At next roundabout turn right onto the A308. Now follow directions from (*) above.
