VOICES ANON ON THE WEB

Voices Anon, the choir based in Maidenhead, is delighted to announce the launch of their internet web site. The site includes rehearsal information, past and future performances, contact details and photographs of the choir in action. The site's address is

Voices Anon was formed in 1995 and exists to improve the members' vocal skills and extend their musical knowledge.

The Voices Anon site has been produced by maidenehad.net ("Maidenhead dot net"), the area's most popular regional site. Paul Baker, of maidenhead.net, said yesterday "Voices Anon came to us looking for a web site and a draft site was produced within a week. We are pleased to have Voices Anon as a client and wish them every success."

Maidenhead.net was first launched in November 1998. It is aimed at residents and visitors and includes a pub guide, accommodation listing, local history, community links, sports and leisure information, virtual tour, street maps and more. According to BBC figures 11,000 join the internet in the UK every day.

A spokesman for the committee of Voices Anon, said "We are pleased to be one of the many organisations in the region now on the web."
