A wine bar/restaurant open until 12 midnight. Loud (but well chosen) music from a live DJ greets you in this bar which has a friendly feel and tasteful decoration. It has a wooden floor and a selection of tables - tall ones with high stools and standard ones around the edge. Some tables outside in the summer. Mirrored walls in parts, other walls have pictures and posters in a film theme. There's even a bust of Marilyn Monroe. The food menu is very basic but good value. Beers on-tap include Boddingtons, Heineken, Strongbow and Stella. Plenty of bottled beers available and a large selection of cocktails, including one called a Multiple Orgasm... Two gambling machines, one pool table. Special theme nights (e.g. comedy, quiz and race nights). Bouncers on the door. Closed Sunday. Well worth a visit.
